San Luis Obispo Little Theatre announces auditions for NUNCRACKERS- THE NUNSENSE CHRISTMAS MUSICAL. Runs November 19-December 19, 2010. Rehearsals begin Monday, October 4th. Direction and Choreography by Jim Shine..All roles open and all require good singers with movement/dance skills.
Auditions for Adult Roles will be held Monday, September 20th and Tuesday, September 21st; 7pm at SLOLT, 888 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo. Please bring a headshot/Resume and
prepare 16-32 bars of a song that shows range and personality, and a one minute comedic monologue. You may be asked to cold read from the script. Bring sheet music in the correct key.
NO ACAPELLA.
CALLBACKS, at directorʼs request, will be held on Monday, September 27th and Tuesday, September 28th.
Street, San Luis Obispo. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song showing range and personality, and be prepared with a short joke, monologue or poem.
CALLBACKS, at directorʼs request, will be Tuesday, September 28th, 7pm at SLOLT.
Rehearsals begin Monday, October 4th and will generally follow a Sun-Thurs Evening Rehearsal schedule. Childrenʼs Rehearsals will be Saturday Mornings until the end of October, then the kids will join the adults in the evenings.

Sister Mary Regina (Rev. Mother)- (F 30-60)Tries to be strict and keep order, but things get out of her control. Her showbiz background and good humor always shine through. Strongsinger, low E to D.
Sister Mary Hubert- 2nd in command.(F 25-50) She wanted to be a nun her whole life. Very practical. She and Rev. Mother have a healthy and humorous rivalry. Strong singer who can hold tight harmonies , Low G to F#. Gospel style riffing a big plus!
Sister Robert Anne- (F 20-50)Streetwise nun from Brooklyn. A tough cookie with a heart of gold. She feels she has real showbiz potential and is constantly frustrated by Rev. Motherʼs refusal to let her “star” in the show. Strong Belt/Mix who can hold tight harmonies, Low G to A.
Sister Mary Paul (Amnesia)-(F 20-50) was hit on the head by a crucifix and for a long timedidnʼt remember who she was. Upon gaining her memory, she became a country/western singing star. Even though she has regained her memory, she is “a little vacant”, but innocently endearing. Strong country/western singer who can hold tight harmonies, Low F# to A.
Father Virgil-(M 20-50)Sister Leoʼs brother and host of his own radio show. Invited by the sisters to give their christmas special a “professional glitz”. Excellent singer/comedic actor. Baritone G to F.
Mount Saint Helenʼs Students-Two Boys and Two Girls ranging in age from 8-17. Singing/ Movement skills with the ability to project personality. Boys: low G to F#, Girls: Low B Flat to A.
