Where Do Your Contributions Go?

San Luis Obispo Little Theatre presents a mainstage season of 5 plays per year, including musicals, comedies, and drama.  All performers and crew are volunteers.  Your donation supports small stipends for directors and musicians as well as the costs of  royalties, costumes, sets, lighting, sound effects, and other production expenses.

Our Academy of Creative Theatre, now in its 15th year, provides year-round, affordable theatre workshops and performance opportunities for youth ages 5 to 18.  Your donation ensures that the young people in our community have the chance to grow as people and as budding artists.

Our Readers’ Theatre program, now in its 8th year,  presents staged readings of plays that might not be practical as full productions in our Playhouse.  Your gift brings the wonderful language and message of these plays to our community at minimal cost.

Our productions and programs depend on a solid foundation.  Your donation supports the operating costs of the Little Theatre, which include our small but dedicated professional staff, utilities, housekeeping, repairs, equipment, insurance, and office supplies.
